How proud can a father be of his son ?
Please visit the site to donate if you can, or tweet and mention the charity website site if you can't.
Hi proud yes.... but at the same time sad. The fact that this service is required is not really a "cost saving" to front line service - but an ar*e covering service, as the purchasers (nhs procumentent managers) only agree a 9-5 service as part of the contract not realising what is required - a 7/24/365 service. Using volunteers to cover management incompetence is a sad situation the UK & nhs finds itself in. This is not the only example. I wish your son and his colleagues safe riding doing this work.
You can be extremely proud that your son has followed in your very own foot steps due to the examples you have displayed by the very things that you have done throughout your life Mick! Big respects go out to Mark who thinks of others before himself & Big respects to YOU for being a source of strength, leadership & the best that you could be in your role as a modern day father !
