The Fantastic Olympics

So after all the panic and grief and horror stories the Olympics went quite smoothly.

The opening and closing ceremonies were great with opening better than closing in my view. The closing ceremony would of been better if Harry had made a better entrance than walking down the steps.

Seb Coe must be proud of is work it was some organisation and his only real problem was empty seats.

Now that Cameron has had the chance to make all the great political noises and talk on TV. Yesterday the interview was a disgrace Cameron nor the presenter would shut up and listen. But one very worrying comment that did come out was the quote from the coach who discovered Mo saying that having competition in primary schools can be bad since it can put off some children for life. The main thing with sport for kids is to let them enjoy themselves competition can come later. Cameron dismissed this on the spot. Unfortunately its true push kids too much and just forget it they will give up.

What comes next. I am going to get fitter having been motivated by Mo thought he was great, in fact have entered a race in October.

Saw an excellent text 7,000,000 people have become motivated to start running after watching Mo win 10,000m Yesterday morning 35 made their first run.

The funding is in place for 2016 at the moment but what happens when real life comes back and the economic problems start to really bite.

Any thoughts
