What song best describes your work ethic?
'Come on Everybody' by Eddie Cochrane
Because I am energetic, enthusiastic and love getting people together!
Against the odds by Phil Collins
What's yours? (Just for fun)!
For those of us with blessed / cursed (delete as appropriate) with a pioneering nature - it just HAS to be: "It's a long way to the top" - the 1975 ear-bleeding beer-swilling mosh pit classic! Personally - I prefer Lemmy's cover version. I love that old bugger - so much I even forgave him for those terrible sell-out ads in the 1990's with Axa life insurance. Now - John Lydon (that'll be Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols for our younger viewers) selling 'Country life' butter. Sorry old son - you still need your shins kicking!
Not quite all in line with my work, but reminds me of when I could claim fees and expenses. Expenses available in role still, in charitable sector, fees too if I ever get mapping work again. I used to think of this 'way back when. And it's the most atmospheric song and rendition I can imagine... Raymond Chandleresque, as I have no doubt that's whence Mark Knopfler's inspiration came. William might recall our alternate recitation over dinner in London - oh my, second reference to him this lunchtime!
Hi Sam, I like your songs. My songs are: "Under pressure" - Queen - that is how I usually work. Always working on dead line. I am mostly effective when multitasking. "My Way" - Frank Sinatra - I did it right, I did it wrong but always did it my way, never by the rules. "Crossroads" - Cream - where I am now :) Best D. x
