Would a socialist's approach boost French GDP?

President Hollande and the IMF

Dear Ecademists,

Stephanie Flanders, Economics editor, BBC, wrote about President Hollande and the IMF that the socialist's approach would boost French GDP by about 0.2%, relative to President Sarkozy's plan, and cut France's public debt ratio slightly faster.

I agree with Stephanie Flanders that Fran├žois Hollande would rescue France's economy and even the economy of the European Union because he will introduce a shift from nuclear energy to sustainable, renewable and alternative sources of energy in order to create millions of new jobs!

Some would welcome Mr Hollande speaking up for a greater emphasis on growth.

What do you think?

Would a socialist's approach boost French GDP?

Have a great and happy new week!
