Tell Your Story

Tell Your Story

Small Business Marketing

The first step in developing your marketing strategy is to get your story right. People are motivated if they see that what you have to offer fits their needs. So you have to be clear who your customer is - and how they think, If you were selling organic vegetables for instance, you would take different approaches on the farmer's market, to a wholefood co-operative or to Tesco. Different people see the world differently and you have to interest them on their own terms if you want to convince them to buy from you. That's why in our Punch above Your Weight workshop we spend a good chunk of time looking at customer psychology with the aid of the BrainMap® If you understand how you think and feel about things - and you recognise that other people don't see it the same way then you will build a better narrative to connect you to them.
