British Army - Intelligence Corps & Royal Corps of Signals 1980 - 2004 (24 years) Worldwide
A retired Army Officer, having joined the Army's Royal Corps of Signals (R Sigs) as a Radio Technician in 1980 aged 16 yrs old. Transferred to the Intelligence Corps, promoted to Warrant Officer (Class 1) Regimental Sergeant-Major (RSM). In 2002, Commissioned into the Intelligence Corps as a Captain (INT CORPS). Served as the SO2 Training Officer at the HQ Directorate Intelligence Corps (HQ D INT CORPS), forming and delivering training policy for the INT CORPS. An Operator and Instructor on a wide variety of military Special Duties.
I began my 1st career when I joined the British Army aged 16 years old, as an Apprentice Tradesman (back row - 4th from the left) at the Army Apprentices College in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England as an Apprentice Radio Technician in the Royal Corps of Signals (R Sigs). I graduated in 1983 in the rank of Lance Corporal (LCpl) and embarked upon a 24 year military career in the British Army. I gained promotion to the rank of Sergeant, R Sigs and qualified as a Class 1 Radio Technician.
As a Sergeant, I transferred to the Intelligence Corps (INT CORPS) and gained promotion to the highest rank a soldier can achieve - Warrant Officer (Class 1) and in the position of Regimental Sergeant-Major (RSM INT CORPS). In 2002 I received the Queen's Commission, becoming an Officer in the rank of Captain, Intelligence Corps. One of the Honours and Awards I received during my service was to be Mentioned In Despatches (MID).
I left the Army in 2004 to fulfill another goal - running my own business. In 2004 I began my 2nd career, and first business, for the following 8 years running my own residential sales and lettings agency in Kent and London - 2004 to 2012. I joined BNI (Business Network International) in 2011 and became an Assistant Director and Chapter Director of BNI in Kent, England. I look forward to re-joining BNI when I return to the UK.

Currently, I am studying the first of three courses to become a Napoleon Hill Foundation Certified Instructor. Course 1 is Napoleon Hill's Science of Success Course - Your Right To Be Rich. This will be followed by an internet-based course and finally a 7 day residential course.
A member of MENSA. Mensa, the high IQ society, provides a forum for intellectual exchange among its members. There are members in more than 100 countries around the world. Activities include the exchange of ideas through lectures, discussions, journals, special-interest groups, and local, regional, national and international gatherings; the investigations of members' opinions and attitudes; and assistance to researchers, inside and outside Mensa, in projects dealing with intelligence or Mensa.
