I prefer to make new and few rules and change parameters. If you want me to describe myself, I would say: passionate about lots of things, love change and new challenges, my drive is about developing people and I enjoy variety. One of my passions is about exceptional customer. I try to find purpose and meaning in what I do and I expect to see a difference or I would have wasted everyone's time including my own. So that is why I am excited about The Customer Factor's approach - it is very different. It is about inspiration, empowering people with tools that will impact on their life beyond work and changing attitudes. In The Customer Factor I have brought together best practises and latest training techniques from around the world. Through fun and discovery natural learning takes place and the tools they acquire are with them forever. It's about taking control of the part of our environment that we can take control, being focused and truly effective. If staff take control themselves of achieving outcomes, they will never need to be told what they need to do to exceed customer expectations. If they develop a creative and "can-do" attitude, they will always be genuine, fresh, and passionate and the outcome will follow. The fundamental philosophy of "I'm okay - you're okay" is important - so, we focus on both. My background is varied - Public Relations, run my own various businesses, helped new business start-ups, worked internationally, lived in Africa, won a couple of business awards, competitively ran ultra marathons, adventure race, canoed around South Africa and have met such a variety of people from around the world. Balance and relaxation are important too, so I'm a fan of chilling out and taking time to reflect. Travel, family times and enjoying a meal cooked by my husband and washed down with a good Shiraz wine are some of my favourite pastimes.
