Hans-Christer Holgersson brings more than two decades of international management experience to his current position as Managing Director of Scania Great Britain. Hans-Christer Holgersson has worked with Scania, a global manufacturing firm specializing in the production of heavy trucks, buses, and engines, since 1985. Hans-Christer Holgersson came to Scania after a successful career in the finance industry. Utilizing his considerable finance experience, Hans-Christer Holgersson joined Scania in the role of Manager of Financial Planning and Control. Working out of Scania's Brazilian offices, Hans-Christer Holgersson received numerous accolades for his managerial leadership, earning the honor of being the Brazilian Auto Industry's Most Admired Business Leader, according to Autodata and CartaCapital. After his successful tenure in Brazil, Hans-Christer Holgersson moved to Scania Spain, where he headed up finance for the company's Spanish operations for four years. Hans-Christer Holgersson next returned to his native Sweden, where he took on the role of Managing Director of Scania Finance. Hans-Christer Holgersson has been in his current UK-based position since 2007. An active business leader, Hans-Christer Holgersson currently serves as the Director of the UK's Swedish Chamber of Commerce. Through this position, Hans-Christer Holgersson works to facilitate better business and improved trade between the two countries. Formerly, Hans-Christer Holgersson served as Director of the Council of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Brazil and Argentina. Prior to beginning his career, Hans-Christer Holgersson attended the Stockholm School of Economics, where he earned his Master's degree in Business.
