Virtual-OMS was established in 2007. I have worked as an Executive Assistant for many years at Board level, in both public and private international companies in the Netherlands, relocating to the UK in July 2005. Although born in the Netherlands, I am fluent in English and German as my native Dutch. My main aim of Virtual-OMS is to give business support to coaches, independent consultants and International Companies. To fully achieve this objective I have the privilege of having a Spanish/French associate on board who will complete the marketing strategy I have set for 2008/009. I love challenges and have developed strong organisational and prioritisation skills from my 26 years as PA to executives and senior managers. I also have a strong "customer" focus and my networking ability is evidenced by the fact that I have recently taken up the role of Secretary of the FSB East Devon branch. This role has enabled me the opportunity to make contact with British companies who wish to expand (or are active) on mainland Europe. In all my previous executive assistants roles, my initiative, curiosity, flexibility and commitment have helped me develop professionally and I am very keen to move forward with my business. I am numerate and have excellent analytical skills - I believe that I am able to look at and understand systems and processes, look for delays and waste within a system and where possible apply the appropriate technology to help solve problems. I am also a believer in continuous professional education and a quick learner. Recently I have been asked to join a European business network group and I am currently contacting people who are active in online European business networks. Therefore I joined forces with Williams Language Solutions: www.translate-it.org and a press release has been issued (see News on my website). We are in the middle of forming an alliance in providing European marketing and communication services. If you are interested in "How to speak culturese", we are selling already a small booklet called " The Do's and Don'ts when travelling". The booklet is free for any new customer but can be bought for a special price of £5 of which 10% goes to The Children's Trust: www.translate-it.org/english/promo.html. This is the beginning of an interesting and exciting development so watch this space for more news to come! In my spare time I love to be active, my passions include salsa/jazz exercise, aquafit but the most exciting thing is doing agility with my dog Molly. My aim is to enter competition with her at a high level. If you are looking for a definite asset to your business with European know-how and who can provide business support services in the languages you require, please feel free to visit my website: www.virtual-oms.co.uk. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
