US TAX WHILE LIVING OUTSIDE THE US
When I moved to England eight years ago, I discovered that about half of the Americans living abroad are not filing their annual tax returns. If your income is small, that may be of little consequence, as penalties are based on balance due. But if you're a high income earner, or if you own a business, the penalties can be steep. There are penalties for not reporting foriegn bank accounts. These start at $10,000 per account per year, and ratchet up to 20% or even 50% of the account value. And if you are a primary shareholder of a corporation or a primary partner in a partnership, you may face penalties of $10,000 per entity for not filing reports about your company or firm.

I serve as the Secretary for the Greater London region for the Federation of Small Businesses and I also serve on the FSB's London Policy Unit. The FSB is devoted to helping influence Whitehall to keep in mind the needs of small and micro businesses. I really enjoy doing charity work that provides help to people who are making a difference in this world.
I enjoy traveling, usually combining a bit of fun with a bit of work. I like to cook a bit; my only vice is good food - cheeses and chocolates, Italian or Thai, lobster or lasagna, I enjoy the pleasure of eating well.
I was raised near Boston Massachusetts, and have lived in London the past ten years. I am separated from my husband, but really enjoyed having been married, so I'm looking for someone new to share my life with. If you're looking for someone to grow old with, and you enjoy traveling, give me a ring. I'm not picky about superficial things like race, sex, or what make and model car you drive, but it would be nice if you are cute. Try before you buy! Come over for a nice Italian dinner for two at Chez Liz any weekend.
Nearly 95% of the cheery inquiries I recieve on this site are spamademy messages. Here's a typical spamademy message: "I read your profile and I have something to sell you that has nothing to do with anything on your profile ('cause I didn't actually read it, I'm lying). Please contact me to buy my thingy that has nothing to do with anything I read in your profile. Oh, and I'll never buy anything from you either, since I never bovvered to read your profile." I am therefore no longer responding to messages, notifications, and emails from Ecademy. If you want to contact me about a specific client inquiry or a specific tax-related question, please contact me via the contact details provided on this profile page.
