Creating Room4art.comÂ, a repository of high quality original paintings & drawings priced from Â£100-Â£1000 searchable online by size, colour, subject, type or price and bought online without the cost of art gallery overhead has been a fascinating challenge! Just to photograph, document and database the 2000 artworks so far and getting a 15 day no quibble return and refund policy to work has led to business structures that are new to art and to me!
As John Stocks and I take Room4art.comÂ live, my role in life will once again change from the full-time preparation of this new business, to a portfolio existence, where I undertake 2 or several simultaneous assignments. One of these will continue to be as Business Director of Room4art.comÂ, a business of which I am extremely proud!
A CEO will call me in as a strategy consultant or marketing consultant to provide their Board an independent, fact-based vision of how to achieve required progress with their customers and internally, and then to roll up my sleeves and work with them to deliver sales, profits and cash.

If you value real assistance more than thick reports that remain unread, I can help you myself, or through my network. I want to work alongside clients, helping them think through problems, and devise and implement cost-effective and profitable solutions by applying the specialist skills of appropriately selected associates or third parties. I act in an executive - some call it Interim - capacity in most instances, but will effectively and happily work for clients as adviser or executive, board member or manager. Because I understand that ultimately there is virtually no economic or legal difference between work done in one role or another, I am pleased to fit in with the requirements of the client and their situation.
Businesses need an effective way forward quickly identified. This needs unusually wide experience which I bring and cultivate. I prefer the stimulus of working for many clients simultaneously (usually charging by the hour, rather than by the day). This approach has the advantage of rapidly applying, expanding and maintaining my experience to the advantage of my clients.
