This Cookie Policy explains how Alpha Base OS Ltd ("Sunzu") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on www.sunzu.com.

Non-essential cookies are off until you accept them. On your first visit we set analytics and advertising storage to "denied" and ask for your choice in a banner; nothing in sections 2 to 4 below loads until you accept. Your choice is stored on your own device and can be reset at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time and help website operators understand how users interact with their site.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website and Sunzu workspace to function. They cannot be disabled. They include session management, authentication tokens, and security cookies. No personal data is shared with third parties through strictly necessary cookies.

2. Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve performance and user experience.

• PostHog: site and product analytics — sessions, pages viewed, traffic sources, and automatic capture of clicks. Our PostHog instance is hosted in the European Union and your data is not transferred outside it.
• Cloudflare: performance, reliability, and security cookies used to identify trusted traffic and protect against abuse. These are strictly necessary and are set regardless of your choice.

3. Session recording

With your consent, we use tools that record your session so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. A recording can capture the pages you view, your mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and keystrokes, the size of your screen, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. It is a reconstruction of your visit, not a video of your screen or camera.

We do not enable recording of the contents of form fields. Inside the Sunzu workspace we go further: all text is masked before it leaves your browser, so a recording shows the shape of the interface and where you clicked, never the content of your research. No recording starts unless you accept analytics cookies, and you can stop future recording at any time by resetting your choice as described above.

4. Advertising and targeting cookies

These cookies track browsing behaviour to deliver relevant advertising across the web. They are set by our advertising partners.

• LinkedIn Insight Tag: B2B audience targeting and conversion tracking on LinkedIn.

These are used on this website only. They are not present in the Sunzu workspace, which carries no advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.

5. Functional cookies and local storage

We store your cookie choice on your own device so we do not have to ask on every page. It is not shared with anyone.

• sz_consent: a browser local-storage entry recording whether you accepted analytics cookies. Clearing your site data removes it.

6. How these tools are loaded

We no longer use a tag manager. The services in sections 2 to 4 are loaded directly by a single script on this site, and only once your choice allows it — which means the list above is the complete set, not a summary of what a container might contain. Analytics requests are routed through our own domain rather than sent to PostHog directly; this improves reliability, and changes nothing about what is collected or who receives it. This site embeds no third-party video, maps, or social widgets; our explainer video is hosted by us and sets no third-party cookies. Please refer to each provider's own privacy and cookie policy for details of their processing.

7. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified before a cookie is stored. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the site or workspace. Instructions for common browsers:

• Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
• Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Preferences > Privacy
• Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

The simplest way to withdraw consent for everything in sections 2 to 4 is to clear this site's data, which resets your choice and stops those tools loading on your next visit.

To opt out more broadly: interest-based advertising, youronlinechoices.eu (EU) or optout.aboutads.info (US). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of everything in sections 2 to 4 and load none of those tools, whatever choice you made previously and without asking again.
